Dear fellow progressives and open-minded conservatives. For the sake of America, we need to work together. While I am a liberal of the Bernie Sanders mold, I do realize there is a syndrome that I will call Liberal Tribal Dogma. I even created this little-used tag on Twitter 🙂 #LiberalTribalDogma.
I am learning WordPress. which is the software this site runs on. I have been sidetracked but this site will be VERY ACTIVE by the summer when I finish my web design studies. So please forgive me. Also, I realize the posts need to be streamlined and my writing style upgraded. Working on that too! Check back. Many of the issue pages are placeholders now. I want to get about 50 new posts up, then categorize them into the topics you see on the top menu.
Talking Points
My mission is to advance a progressive agenda that is America affirming with out the usual masochistic bull shit. I resent tribal dogma. Be it from the right or the left. That does NOT mean my positions are always centrist. I believe in Social Democracy. We Democrats did a CANCEL CULTURE on our very heritage. Barely anyone knows about FDR’s Second Bill Of Rights. In order to get corporate funding we did a CANCEL CULTURE on the heritage FDR gave us. Thus many Trump followers correctly see that our jobs were off shored and Democrats like the Clinton sanctioned this. The problem is Trump never corrected this problem. But he spoke the language and people purchased the hope with the price of underlying racism.
- Democrats gave up selling FDR’s ideals so they could get corporate sponsorship. FDR said “they hate me and I welcome their hatred”!
- MAGA voters seem to believe their middle class existence just floated down from heaven. Democrats, not wishing to anger their corporate sponsors toned down the rhetoric of FDR. Trump stole the legit ideals and added racism.
- Democrats also add a secular version of Adam and Eve racial collective guilt. I call it and invented the twitter tag of LIBERAL TRIBAL DOGMA.
- Both the right and left have formed tribes. Sociology teaches the concept of ethnocentrisms and internalization of values. These present filters for both conservatives and liberals to see the world. I come from the LEFT but I value being a free thinker. But like all of us I to have filters. Join me as I poke fun of these filter on both the left and right while still being a Social Democrat.
Site Reorganization
I got side tracked on the design of this site. Should I use Divi, Elementor, Gutenberg? I am working understanding websites. That is why my content creation is delayed. But I will just chose one of the above software and then plow ahead. By summer I should be devoted solely to content. Till then check the blog section as I will be posting.
